The Company has determined that it is necessary to schedule a shutdown period starting December 18, 2000, as follows: Shutdown...... December 18-22.2000
Inventory...... January 2- 5, 2001
Shutdown...... January 8-12, 2001
Return to work.. January 15, 2001

Inventory will be taken with a crew of about 20-25 employees. A posting with a department requirement will be available in the Human Resources department this week for volunteers to sign up.

Certain areas will have manufacturing requirements during a portion of this period. Those employees required to work will be notified by their department supervisor.

The Illinois Department of Employment Security will be on the premises (Die Cast entrance) on December 14,2000, from 7:00am-4:30pm, to accept your unemployment applications.
